Coach Gilbeck in 2019-2020 is entering his 6th season as the Head Basketball Coach at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County and has been with the program for a total of seven years. Each season under Coach Gilbeck has seen an increase in competitiveness for Boo U culminating in Back to Back trips to the WCC Final Four.
Scott Gilbeck has been coaching basketball for over 20 years at Oregon Middle School-Boys & Girls in 1994-1995, River Valley High School-Freshman Boys 1996-1998 and boys club basketball team from 2005-2011. He has been active in coaching other sports which includes soccer (U4-U14) and baseball.

2014-2015: 1-12 (Team dissolved at semester)
2015-2016: 2-16
2016-2017: 8-11 (1st Playoff Win since 2011)
2017-2018: 9-13 (WCC Final Four Participant)
2018-2019: 10-11 (WCC Final Four Participant)

Alex Harvey

(1st SEASON)
The 2019-2020 season will be Portage native, Alex Harvey's first season as an assistant for the UW-Baraboo/Sauk County Men's Basketball Program but his second time around with Boo U. Alex previously helped with the Women's Basketball Program.
ERICK BLASING
ASST. COACH
(4th SEASON)
The 2019-2020 season will be Erick Blasing's fourth as an assistant for the UW-Baraboo/Sauk County Men's Basketball Program and his first pulling double duty as he also serves as Varsity Assistant Coach at Baraboo High School. Erick is currently in his fourteenth season of coaching basketball in 2019-2020 with experience ranging from Middle School, High School Assistant, and High School Head Coach. Erick is also an instructor on campus, teaching HHP 3610 Theory of Coaching Basketball.
